Whiskey

Whiskey is a beautiful 3-year-old Cattle Dog who came heartbreakingly close to losing his life—through no fault of his own. He arrived at the shelter timid and unsure, having likely known nothing beyond the boundaries of a backyard. The world was big and unfamiliar, and Whiskey didn’t know who to trust. But give him a tennis ball, and something amazing happens—he turns into a happy, energetic, and playful pup. As he’s settled into the shelter, Whiskey has begun to blossom. He’s still shy at first, but once he warms up, he becomes affectionate, playful, and eager for connection. He’s absolutely loving all the attention and cuddles he’s been receiving at the Haven and hopes to find a family that will love him just as much as we do. Whiskey is looking for a calm, understanding home with someone who will continue to build his confidence and show him the world isn’t so scary after all. With patience, love, and a few tennis balls, Whiskey will become the loyal, happy companion he was always meant to be.
