Roxy travels well in the car
Roxy is a beautiful 7-year-old German Shepherd x Kelpie with so much love and loyalty to give. Despite the instability and heartbreak she has faced, this sweet girl remains incredibly devoted to her favourite people and is searching for a calm, understanding home where she can finally feel safe and secure.
Roxy came into our care after her owner moved away and left her with a family member who loved her deeply, but was physically unable to provide the care she needed. True to the Shepherd breed, Roxy’s loyalty runs incredibly deep. For weeks, she waited patiently for her owner to return, sadly, he never did.
Roxy is highly intelligent, as expected from both the Shepherd and Kelpie breeds, and she does have some guarding tendencies. Because of this, she will need an experienced home that understands the needs and complexities of shepherd-type dogs and is willing to provide her with patience, structure, and ongoing guidance.
Roxy is looking for a special home with:
• No other dogs or animals
• No children
• A calm, stable environment
• Someone experienced with German Shepherds or similar breeds
This incredible girl has so much potential and deserves a family who will return the same loyalty and love she so willingly gives. For the right person, Roxy will be the most wonderful companion and best friend.
