About Luna
Meet Luna, a sweet, shy, and timid little soul looking for a patient, loving family to help her discover that the world can be a safe and happy place. She came into our care with her sister Nevaeh after spending the first 8 months of their life confined to a bedroom. Understandably, Luna is quite nervous about new people and the big, wide world.
Nevaeh quickly found her forever home, leaving Luna to navigate the shelter life by herself. Whilst this was initially a tough adjustment for Luna, she is growing and learning with leaps and bounds. With gentle guidance and plenty of reassurance, Luna will blossom into a confident, affectionate companion.
Once Luna learns to trust, she turns into a completely different dog, one full of excitement, personality and playfulness. Luna needs a family that understands all she has been through and is willing to work alongside her to help her reach her full potential and leave behind that frightened little pup once and for all.
